Today is a very special day for me: three years ago today, Mom brought me home! It’s been an amazing three years, and it seems like every day, life gets better. Mom makes life so nice for Ruby and me.
Look how tiny I was when Mom first met me! This picture was taken the very first time she met me at the animal hospital where I was staying.
When I first came home to live with Mom, my big sister Amber was still alive, and she was showing me the ropes. I only got to spend five much too short weeks with her before she got really sick and died. Then it was just Mom and me for a while. Mom had her hands full with me, she wasn’t used to having such a high energy kitten like me! We had fun together, and Mom did her best to be my Mom and my best buddy.
A year after Amber died, Ruby joined our family. Even though I wasn’t sure about her at first, it didn’t take me long to see how much fun it was to have a playmate. The photo above shows us hanging out together on the afternoon of the very first day Ruby came to live here.
Mom said today is all about me, and we’re going to celebrate all day long!
