CKD-Master-Guide

Over the last few months, many of you have told me how much Dr. Kris’s posts on this website and his book Nine Lives, One Mission: Vet Approved Home Treatments for Cats with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) have helped your cats, and have helped you cope with a CKD diagnosis. Dr. Kris’s new video course takes everything you’ve learned in the book and in his posts to the next level.

What does the course cover?

The course comes with 13 modules covering all aspects of CKD in depth. It is designed to fill the gaps between vet visits, building on the information your vet may have already shared with you. But more importantly, it will help you understand what to watch for day to day, and what to do about the changes you may notice. It will also help you have clearer, more productive conversations with your veterinarian.

The course does not promise a cure, because there is no cure for CKD. What it does offer is clarity and structure that helps you cut through the often overwhelming amount of information that comes with a CKD diagnosis. Rather than trying something here, something different there, this course will help you make calmer and more effective choices for your cat.

The guidance and solutions you’ve been looking for

If you’re looking for a quick fix, this course is not for you. This course is for cat parents who are willing to learn everything they can about CKD so they can make deliberate and informed decisions for their cat.

You could spend a lot of time chasing down information on CKD online, and you have no way of knowing that the information you find is accurate. Dr. Kris has done the legwork for you. He will tell you what to do, what to take to your vet, and he backs everything up with experience and science.

I thoroughly enjoyed watching the course

I watched the entire course, all 13 modules. Even though I am familiar with the topic covered, I still learned something new in almost every module. And I really enjoyed Dr. Kris’s presentation. His engaging, conversational style makes even dry topics like phosphorus, anemia and proteinuria easily understandable for the lay person.

The course is self-guided, so you can proceed at your own pace. Modules range from six to 27 minutes in length.

This course is like having your own personal vet hold your hand as you shepherd your cat through the challenging journey of CKD.

Real world CKD care stories

Purchase of the course also gives you access to ongoing stories about cats who have been helped by applying the information provided in the course. These short videos can serve both as a sort of online support group by seeing how other cat parents care for their CKD cats, and provide additional tips to help your cat.

How to purchase the CKD Master Guide

The CKD Master Guide is $297. That may seem like a lot on the face of it, but compared to multiple vet visits to get the same information, it’s a bargain. The course is not designed to replace your vet, but it will most likely reduce the number of times you need to consult with your vet, reducing stress on both your cat and you. A single vet visit or recheck often runs $85 to $120. Add in bloodwork and other diagnostics, and you’re easily looking at $400 to $800. That’s why Dr. Kris intentionally priced the CKD Master Guide below the cost of an average vet visit, while giving cat parents a clear, practical guidance they can use every day.

Dr. Kris also offers additional packages that include a private video consultation with him.
