Ruby’s Reflections: 3rd Adoption Anniversary

Hi, everyone, it’s Ruby! Today is a very special day for me: three years ago today, my mom brought me home! The last three years have been the best!

Look at the fun collage Mom of kitten pictures that made for me for my anniversary! My favorite is the one of Mom holding my carrier, the day she picked me up from my foster family. She looks so happy. Mom says I still look like a kitten, but I’m a big girl now!

I can’t wait to see what Allegra and Ruby have planned for me today. I hope it involves tuna! Yummy!

I usually offer tips and suggestions on how to live a happier life in this column, but sometimes, there is value in identifying what makes us miserable. Awareness is the first important step toward making lasting change, and becoming aware of self-sabotaging habits that get in the way of living our best life can help clear out negative mindsets.
