Hi everyone, it’s Allegra and Ruby! Mom had one of her super smart posts about some super important topic scheduled for today, but we snuck out of the bedroom once she was fast asleep last night, and rescheduled it for next week. At first we were going to delete it, but then we realized that maybe Mom would get mad at us if we did that….
Allegra: Ruby, you know better than that. Mom never gets mad at us.
Ruby: She does at me!
Allegra: That’s because you can be a royal little pain…
Ruby: Blows raspberry at Allegra.
Allegra: Anyway, as we started to say above, we rescheduled the post Mom had planned for today, because today is her birthday, and we think she deserves a special post just for her.
Ruby: Happy Birthday, Mom! Will there be tuna cake?
Allegra: Ruby, Mom’s birthday is about her, not about you!
Ruby: But we get to celebrate with her, so why wouldn’t there be tuna cake?
Allegra: We’re supposed to do something special for her today, Ruby.
Ruby: Tuna is special!
Allegra: sighs.
Ruby: We’re going to snuggle with Mom all day long and play with her and make sure that she doesn’t get any work done! Wee!!!
Allegra: That’s more like it, Ruby. Please join us in wishing our Mom a happy birthday. She’s the best mom on the planet!
Ruby: We love you, Mom!
