Whether your kids are human or furry, enjoy your special day!
Father’s Day can be bittersweet for those of us whose fathers are no longer with us. My dad passed away 13 years ago, but I still get a little sad when friends talk about what they’re going to do to celebrate, or when I see Father’s Day cards pop up in stores.
If you still have your father, tell him that you love him today. If you are a father, enjoy your special day!
I always love when you post your Dad. Mine passed 16 years ago so I understand (((hugs)))
Thanks, Caren. Hugs to you, too!
I left one hours ago..it’s not here? Very
Disappointed, it was not offensive
Don’t know what happened.
I would appreciate feedback from whomever blocked it. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing such a special picture of you and your dad. Happy Father’s Day memories! Purrs from Deb and the Zee/Zoey gang
I agree with your sentiment regarding Father’s Day; it is a bittersweet day for those of us who no longer have a father figure in our lives. Today is the day for all sons and daughters who still have a father to reach out and thank them for all they do!

Hi Inrigrid~ I relate to you totally! Those who still have Dads, boy you are lucky.
My dad has been gone for many moons.
And Mom, too. Even though I am up in years, I feel like an orphan without them.
Call your Dad, don’t text him. Send him something if your minkes away. Be with him
if you can. They are gone too soon.
Cards are very hard to look at, even today.
My favorite memory of Dad driving me to school in a Chicago blizzard.
We got there, glad got a blanket our of the trunk, and he carried me into the school.
My friends made fun of that! But then~ they
were never lucky as I was to have my Dad!!
How many Dads do that.
For all of you..go to you tube and search
Daddy’s Littke Girl…a. Beautiful song my Dad sang to me.
After he passed, one day I went to the cemetery, stoid at his grave and sand Dady’s. Lille Girl.
To this day, the words are so moving!
Hapoy Fathers day, to my Dad, Edward. My
grandson is named in his blessed memory.
Love to all today.
Thank you for this lovely comment, Patti – it’s beautiful! (And sorry for the late approval – I was out of town this weekend with no computer access.)
Ingrid…that is ok….I just saw your reply
Today….way past Fathers Day.
My error, not yours.
