Merry Christmas from Allegra and Ingrid

When I had this card designed late this summer, I never thought Ruby wouldn’t be here with us at Christmas. I debated not posting it, but I love the image so much, I decided to go ahead. It reflects Ruby’s fun-loving spirit purrfectly. I can almost hear the conversation between her and Allegra, with Ruby egging Allegra on to wear a bow on top of her head, too!
Allegra and I will have a quiet Christmas, remembering our special little girl.
Thank you for sharing the picture. Through you, Ruby has left paw prints on our hearts too. Your loss resonates deeply within all of us who have fur babies no longer by our sides.

Aww, I’m so sorry, Ingrid. This has got to be the worst Christmas you’ve had in a long time, without Ruby. But she’s keeping her eye on you and Allegra from the other side of the Bridge, and she will always be in your heart. God bless.

Ingrid, I am glad that you DID post this. Ruby is a vital part of this blog…..your girls are so special and always will be. I’m so happy to see Allegra and Ruby together again, even though Ruby is in a special place beyond the clouds. You’re right, Ingrid, I can almost hear Ruby telling Allegra, ‘you wear that bow, sissy, then Allegra chimes in…..’. Those are memories none of us will ever forget. I was thinking how sad today would be without Dear Ruby and am so glad to see her picture here. She is with you. She couldn’t possible leave you as she loves you so much and you her. Remember the happy times with her. She was so playful and sweet. Allegra must miss her too. You and she hold tight and hug and hug. Keep posting pictures of Ruby as you like. Ruby, you and Allegra are in my prayers. Been somber here for holidays since Casey’s been gone and if I had thought to have a special Christmas picture of my boy I’d have posted it too. But I grieve as I grieve, YOU gave me that.
I’m glad you did share it as it is, Ingrid. You’ve always shared with us and you’re right, it is too beautiful not to.
My belief is she’s right there with her mom and sister this Christmas, and she’ll be back playing with her friends, old and new, day after Christmas.
They know when we need them and they touch us gently. That’s what I believe.
