There is no question that meditation is good for us: it helps us handle the stress of daily life, it has numerous health benefits, and it is a wonderful way to get in touch with our true spiritual nature. In fact, there is so much evidence that meditation is good for you that it seems like meditation should be as much a part of our daily lives as breathing. Never has this been more true than right now.

Today, I’d like to share a resource with you that I’ve found incredibly helpful over the last few months. I first came across Katie Krimitsos’ guided Ease Coronavirus Anxiety meditation on Insight Timer early on in the pandemic. This particular meditation helped me tremendously. Katie adds a new meditation every week, and has since added a few more pandemic-specific ones, but I also find her “regular” meditations very helpful.

Guided meditations can be hit or miss. I find that if I don’t like the presenter’s voice or the background music, I won’t be able to relax into the meditation. I love Katie’s soothing voice, and after listening to her meditations for the past few months, her voice can almost instantly transport me to a calmer state of mind.

You can learn more about Katie and access her guided meditations on her website, Women’s Meditation Network.
