cat-stormy-weather

Don’t you wish you could remain balanced and step through these turbulent times with the kind of confidence the kitty in the photo above displays? Becoming unshakeable in the middle of the storm that life has turned into is becoming more and more challenging, but it’s something worth striving for.

I previously shared the Womens’ Meditation Network as a resource that has been tremendously helpful to me in maintaining a sense of sanity and balance. Katie Krimitsos recently added a meditation titled “You Are Unshakeable,” designed to remind you of who you are at your core, so you can transcend anything life is throwing at you right now. I’ve listened to it several times, and every single time, it has helped me feel more grounded, no matter how anxious or upset I may have been when I started.

All of the meditations are free, but for as little as $5 a month you can subscribe and get access to all of them ad-free (none of the free meditations have ads in the middle of the meditation, only at the very beginning.) You’ll also get access to subscriber only content, journal prompts, and more.

  1. Cats can walk on any catwalk, not shaky and not scared; ‘they say, ‘I can do anything’. That’s a great lesson for us humans, preserve, move on with strength and no fear and you, like the cat will overcome all obstacles in your path.

  2. Love your channel! We love cats so much and when we had to put down our 19 year old Tabby, Samson, eighteen months ago it devastated me as he was such a help with my terrible PTSD. That left us his brother Sydney who is now twenty (and beautiful as all get out… but much more reclusive than his brother, and his adopted sister Sophie who was thrown out of a car in a bag with four other kittens at the age of four weeks! She is now seven years old and tiny compared to Sydney, reserved and very beautiful and living in her own way! Cats are such an important part of our lives and they are such incredible creatures! We were very fortunate that another kitten became available about seven weeks ago and we were able to adopt him. He’s not a tabby but predominantly white with grey and black markings. What’s really important is his personality is JUST LIKE SAMSON’s, super friendly, outgoing, loves to cuddle, inquisitive etc! I never thought I’d get over Sammy’s loss but our new cat Silver is really helping. I know it must have been devastating for you to lose one of your beauty’s and my heart grieves for your loss! Thank you for having such a great cat/human centric channel and every thing that you do! God Bless you!
