Today is Memorial Day in the United States, a day when we honor the memory of the men and women who have died in military service. We also celebrate the arrival of summer, but because of the reason for the holiday, it never feels right to me to say “Happy Memorial Day,” so instead, I’m wishing you a day filled with love and beautiful memories.
Be safe and enjoy your day, but please take a moment to remember those who gave all, recognize the sacrifices of our military personnel and thank them for their service.
The armed forces have been like guardian angels, taking care of the people who aren’t equipped to protect themselves. Memorial Day should remind all of us that we might not have been here today if brave men and women
didn’t stand up and fight for our freedom and all of our loved ones. Happy Memorial Day everyone.

I went to Fairfield cemetery, an old 1800s graveyard,two headstones say,killed by Indians..most markers are rocks…there above prostitutes, gamblers,ect that died or got murdered there..camp floyd popped up(look it up on internet)..town was called frogtown..then I went to camp floyd cemetery, played amazing grace on native American flute at both graveyards..camp floyd graveyard all stones say unknown..
As it is already mentioned, I also cringe at the phrase Happy Memorial Day. We need to get back to the real meaning of the holiday. Many people have lost their lives to protect us and deserve to be remembered today.
Also remember the brave soldiers fighting and who have died defending Ukraine.

How are you?love love your books n your kitties….I’m disabled, got divorced 15 months ago, moved in with my son..ex has my 3 kitties……..luckily,my son has 2 kitties..they have saved my life a few times..I mean literally saved my life several times when it got to dark…I also wanted to say,your very beautiful, pretty..have a great memorial..
