I have a humidifier in my bedroom from November through at least March. I previously reviewed the Okaysou Cool Mist 6 Liter Humidifier, which I absolutely love, but I wanted a smaller humidifier for my office. The folks at Okaysou were nice enough to send me their 2 Liter model.
Benefits of humidifiers
I’m convinced that having a humidifier in my bedroom not only makes it easier to breathe in the dry indoor winter air, it also keeps me healthy. Studies have shown that humidity can help cut down on airborne virus transmission – something that we’ve all become so much more aware of these past three years.
Humidifiers also have benefits for cats. Cats with respiratory allergies or asthma will have a harder time breathing in very dry air. Humidifiers can also somewhat alleviate itchy or dry skin.

Putting the Okaysou Cool Mist Humidifier to the test
This little humidifier is just as powerful as the larger model. It is virtually silent, and the light that comes on when you turn it on is very dim, which doesn’t matter as much in my office, but is an important feature if you’re going to use it in a bedroom.
Since it is so compact, it can be easily moved around your home and used in different spots.

If I ever have extra money (which seems to be never lately), I need to order this humidifier.
The first time I used a humidifier was when my cat was diagnosed with pneumonia. My Vet prescribed antibiotics, but while waiting for those to take effect, I wanted to help her breathe easier. A humidifier made a huge difference in our air quality! She fully recovered and now I appreciate how much a really good humidifier helps.
