Hi everyone, it’s Allegra! I’m so happy that we’re finally getting cooler weather here! Mom says it’s because it’s fall, and I know she’s happy, too. I’m an indoor kitty, so my house is comfortable any time of year, but do you know why I love fall? Because after a summer of wearing shorts around the house, Mom starts wearing long pants again!
I love sleeping on Mom’s lap. In fact, we have a lovely routine almost every day after I get my afternoon meal. Mom goes to sit on the loveseat by our big window and stretches out her legs, and I join her and curl up for a nice long nap on her lap while she reads. And while I do it even when she’s wearing shorts, it’s so much nicer when she’s wearing long pants.
But the best part is when Mom gets a little chilly, and she covers herself with our Lola blanket. Oh my Cat, do I love that blanket! It makes for the best napping!
Kitties, do you sleep on your human’s lap? Do you do it more in the fall, when laps tend to be more comfortable?

Definitely more often when Daddy Cat has long flannel pj’s on, if he doesn’t have them on, I go over to Meowmy and sleep on her becaue she has a blanket on. 🙂
Yes! Warm blankets on laps are the best. My mom also puts blankets on when it gets cold. We aren’t quite there yet, but I know those days are coming.
