During a recent heating system repair, my technician suggested that I could probably save on my electric bills if I put some sort of a draft stopper at the bottom of my front door. I’m a firm proponent of functional products that are also pleasing to the eye, and didn’t want just any old draft stopper. I thought surely there must be a cat themed draft stopper – and I found one!

Draft stopper features
- Soft polyester fabric on the outside is filled with PP cotton and natural washed sand.
- Suitable for doors and windows.
- Keeps cold air outside in the winter, cool air inside in the summer.
- Hanging loops on each end make it easy to store when not in use.
- It comes in six different sizes (30 to 48 inches long).
- Two different cat designs.

My take on this draft stopper
This is a well made, heavy draft stopper. I got the 38 inch size, and it weighs about 2 pounds. I recommend sizing up to the next size after measuring. My door is 36 inches wide, and the 38 inch stopper is purrfect. It lays nice and snug against the door, and it looks super cute!

I was torn between the grey and the cream colored cat, but ended up getting the grey because I love her smiley face and the little pink nose.
The under door draft stopper is available from Amazon.

This cat door stopper is so cute. I have window and door stoppers. They help a lot especially with the windows.
This one is cute. I bought a similar one, but the soft furry style and it wouldn’t stay upright. The head was too heavy and made it roll over. I may look into getting this one for next winter.
I plan to keep mine out all year because I figure if it keeps cold air out in the winter, it’ll keep hot air out in the summer.
That’s a good idea. I never thought of that.
