I-Have-Three-Cats

I don’t often get to look at children’s books, so it’s always fun when a publisher sends me one. I Have Three Cats is a story about a young girl who doesn’t know what to do when a strange cat shows up in her yard.

From the publisher:

The new kitty is a little smelly and covered in fleas—who would want a cat like that? Besides she already has three cats, and they’re not too keen on this newcomer either. But day by day and season by season, the new cat comes back, and the girl and her kitties warm to the new furry face in their yard. Before they know it, the new cat isn’t so new—she’s part of the family.

I-Have-Three-Cats

This delightfully illustrated book is ultimately a story of being chosen by a cat. Recommended for a reading age of 4-8 years, I think this book would be a lot of fun to read to young children. There’s so much to see on each and every page, and the expressions on the cats’ faces are utterly adorable.

  1. This is ironic because I have bought a couple children’s books about cats lately because they were so cute and I knew I could finish them! This looks like another great candidate!
