I don’t usually feel like I need to offer up explanations as to why I chose a particular quote for any given Sunday, but I thought maybe today’s quote does require a few more words.
We live in challenging times, and some days, you may feel like giving up. To me, this quote is not about giving up, but rather, a reminder that, just like we can’t stop the rain, we can’t control everything that happens in the world. But, we can choose how we respond. And we can let the rain remind us that even rainy days end eventually.

With our world in turmoil, we can not let it rain to drown us. I’m writing and calling our senators to do something about it. We need to Roar!

Ironic. It rained last night, so my ground is all wet, putting a screeching halt to our massive mowing project.

And for sure it does fit with what is going on which we have very little influence to change. Just like our cats, we go with the flow for what the new day brings. Wish I was more like my cats and worry less.
I know I complain about rain and storms, but I also know we will need it come summer when it doesn’t rain as often.
