Review: The Zen of Cat
This website, as well as the two books of the same title, are all about learning from our cats, so The Zen of Cat: An A-Z of Japanese Feline Philosophy was a natural fit for a review. In her book, Carla Francis shares facts and stories about Japan, Zen philosophy, and of course, cats.Continue Reading
Review: Tumbledown Manor

Helen Brown has written several books about the cats in her life , each of them wonderful. There were Cleo, Jonah, and Bono, and I recently reviewed her latest book, Mickey: The Cat Who Raised Me, about her childhood cat. When I like an author, I tend to look back to make sure I haven’t missed any of their books. I’ve been a fan of Rita Mae Brown’s Mrs. Murphy Mystery Series, co-authored with her cat Sneaky Pie Brown, from the very start. Feline Fatale is the 32nd book in the series. The original Sneaky Pie was rescued by Ms. Brown at her local SPCA.Continue Reading
