Hi everyone, it’s Allegra and Ruby! Don’t tell on us – we snuck on the computer while Mom was asleep. And it’s a good thing we did, because we noticed she didn’t have her usual Sunday Purrs post written for today. That’s just as well, because we were going to delete it and post this instead – because today is Mom’s birthday!
Ruby: Do you think Mom will be happy when she sees this, Allegra?
Allegra: Of course she will! Not only will she be happy that we made sure there was a post for our readers today, she’ll love that we’re surprising her for her birthday!
Ruby: Will there be tuna cake?
Allegra: Mom doesn’t eat tuna, Ruby.
Ruby: Why not? Tuna is the best! I want tuna cake!
Allegra: It’s Mom’s birthday, Ruby. That means we do special things for her, not the other way around.
Ruby: That’s easy. I’m special all the time.
Allegra: You’re special alright, Ruby…
Ruby: blows raspberry at Allegra.
Allegra: Please join us in wishing our Mom a happy birthday. She’s the best Mom on the planet!

Happy Belated Birthday Ingrid! I wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday yesterday, but I was quite busy because my girls, Jayda and Kiki, were up to no good and made a tuna birthday cake for me as well!
