I have an open shed that I was thinking about putting a big box fan with food and water.
But I’m not sure how he will react to this idea I have.
Please give me so.e more ideas I’m worried about there health.
I would not like to see any of them get over heated.

    • You’re right to be worried, Penny. An open shed will offer some shade, but the temperature inside will still be extremely high. A fan won’t cool the air, it’ll just move it around, and that’s not going to prevent heat exhaustion. I wish I had advice for you! I hope you can convince your boyfriend that he is putting these cats’ lives at risk by refusing to let them in the house.

  2. I remember when I was volunteering for a cat rescue, we had to stop doing outside adoptions because the cats would get too hot.
Another good tip that I heard from my electric company is change the direction to your blinds. Most of us have them set where the slant down to let in a tiny bit of light. Slant them up to make the room darker to keep the room cooler.
