Are you ready to celebrate the 4th annual Tortoiseshell Cat Appreciation Day on April 17? Of course, for those of us who share our lives with torties, that’s every day, but April 17 is the day to bring awareness to these beautiful, often misunderstood cats and their tortitude.
I created Tortoiseshell Cat Appreciation Day in 2020 in Ruby’s memory. I think she’d like that every year on April 17, which is the day she came home with me in 2011, Facebook, Instagram, and any other social networks you’re a part of will turn brown, tan, gold, black, cinnamon and all colors in between to celebrate torties in all their beauty and uniqueness!
