I agree. I ended a friendship that was over decades. I could no longer endure the verbal abuse and insults. She no longer brought joy but heartache. My husband liked her and she and I have another friend that is still with me.
Sadly, the abuser had passed with a stroke. Very young.
Sometimes, I wish that I could have handled the abuse better but I cannot go back in time. Standing up for myself.
We should all be calm and peaceful with joy in our hearts then our lives will be supported in a more robust way. And if this means staying away from people, places and things that take
