Allegra has completely recovered from her visit to Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery – in fact, about 36 hours after having most of her teeth extracted, she acted like nothing ever happened! It’s remarkable how quickly cats bounce back from what I would consider major surgery. Granted, she had some really good pain medication for the first few days, but it still seemed miraculous to me just how quickly she was back to normal.

I couldn’t help but think back to the time when Ruby went to the dentist in 2017. She had all her teeth extracted at the time, and like Allegra, she recovered just as quickly.

At the time, I wrote about Ruby’s experience in a four-part series, but of course, she also had a lot to say about it all herself!

  1. I saw Ruby’s big eyes and I just couldn’t pass up your site Ingrid. Ruby goes to the dentist replays again, with poor Ruby hiding and shrieking away from that mean person. But Ruby made it back home to sister, Allegra, and soon all was back to normal. Dentist, OMGoodness, I have to go tomorrow that’s why I’m trying to amuse myself at 11:45 PM!
I know how Ruby must’ve felt, the poor girl, and goodnight everyone.
