Today is a very big day for Allegra, Ruby and me: today is the official launch day for Tortitude: The BIG Book About Cats With a BIG Attitude! This means that the book will be in stores today.
The book is currently an Amazon Bestseller, and we hope it will do really well in stores, too. Please tell all your cat loving friends about the book. If you don’t see it in your local bookstore, you can ask the store to order it for you. And of course, the book is available from Amazon and other online retailers.
If you’re in the Washington DC area, I would love it if you would come to my Tortitude Launch Party on Saturday, February 13 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The party will take place at Felix & Oscar, one of the premier pet stores in the DC area. Enjoy refreshments, get personalized copies for yourself and your friends, and mingle with other cat lovers. I’ll be speaking and answering questions (about torties, or anything else you’d like to ask me about) around 2:00pm.
Important information for all of you who pre-ordered the Kindle version
When I opened my own Kindle version of the book this morning, I realized that there were some serious formatting errors. My publisher pulled the Kindle version from Amazon, and as of this afternoon, the corrected version has been uploaded. If your Kindle copy has formatting errors, please return it to Amazon for a full refund and repurchase the book. Needless to say, I am very upset that this happened, and deeply sorry for any inconvenience.
