Hi everyone, it’s Allegra! Today, I want to tell you about Mom’s breakfast.
Mom eats her breakfast long after I eat mine. She feeds me as soon as she gets up, because I have her well trained. Then she has coffee while I sit in her lap, and then she goes to the computer to work for a couple of hours. By then, I’m usually ready for a long nap.
Most mornings, Mom eats a pretty boring breakfast that doesn’t interest me all that much. It’s either oatmeal with some fruit, or yogurt with granola and fruit. Meh. But some mornings, she makes herself a breakfast smoothie, and let me tell you, it’s so good!
Mom laughs at me, because other than the milk, there is nothing in this smoothie that warrants me getting so crazy about it. She adds peanut butter, honey and some quick oats. As soon as I hear the blender, I jump up on the table, and I can hardly wait for her to bring the glass over!
Because Mom can’t resist my cuteness, she always lets me have a few licks, even though she says milk isn’t good for kitties. It’s so delicious, I have to thoroughly wash my face afterwards to get every last little bit of the yummy taste.
Kitties, do you like your human’s breakfast food?
My mom doesn’t eat breakfast food for breakfast. She will share her turkey meat or liverwurst from her sandwich with me when she sits at the table. I’ll eat a few bites of my food when she puts it down before she has her breakfast, then I can go back later for the rest of my breakfast. I’ll have to ask mom to let me try some yogurt. She bought me some “kitty milk” but that tastes yukky. My mom is not into smoothies, maybe she can try it.
I think ” normal ” think pet crazed people are crazy because we eat from the same spoon or plate as our pets and think nothing of it. My oldest dog has some problems and poops in my bed sometimes. She has disc disease and the disc hits the nerve in her back, so sometimes she can’t control herself. I just cover my bed with potty pads. She would think I was mad at her if she was not allowed to sleep with. She has done so since she was a baby. Many times I have had to get up in the middle of the night and clean up her mess, but I never get mad. She is my baby. I hope you enjoyed your mom’s breakfast and left her some.
My Daddy pours me a nice bowl of milk but ruins it with some gross crunchy things. Still, it’s milk so I want it and eagerly stick my head into the bowl. I don’t understand why he yells at me to get away from “his” bowl, however.

Oh Allegra… Milk is so yummy. My meowmy lets me have a couple licks too. I love when my meowmy has yogurt for breakfast. That stuff is so good. I am all over her and in her face while she’s eating it and I get pushed aside probably a hundred times. She lets me lick the container when she’s done. Mmmm….. It is so good.

Allegra, that smoothie looks good! Glad you enjoyed. My boys do eat some human food. As for me, eat anything for breakfast!

Oh Allegra, you are too cute! However, cutie pie, I really don’t think that you had to train your mom. We all know that your mom, Ingrid, to the world, is a wonderful woman, writer, person and a truly outstanding human cat loving person.
