Review: WOpet Glitter Ultra Silent Fountain

I’m happy to see that fountains are getting more and more quiet. Gone are the days of fountains that sounded like a waterfall, or pumps that could be heard all the way across the room. The WOpet Glitter Ultra Silent Water Dispenser with LED Light is one of the newest entries in this market, and they’re not kidding when they say ultra silent.

Putting the Glitter fountain to the test

Set up is fairly easy and intuitive. The fountain comes with a USB cord that you can plug into any standard USB wall adapter. I like the simple design, which not only looks nice, but also makes cleaning easy.

Allegra is not a huge fan of fountains, but as is the case anytime we review one, she was immediately intrigued. She even took a sip right away, something I haven’t seen her do with many other fountains in the past.

My take on the Glitter fountain

I love that it is virtually silent! I had to put my ear close to the fountain to even hear the pump. I also like that the water flow on the slower of the two drinking modes is very quiet. I’m not a fan of fountains that sound like a water feature. I expect that’s also what attracted Allegra to drinking from the fountain immediately. She’s used to drinking out of a bowl, and the slow mode more closely mimics that.

This is a very nice, simple fountain at a great price. The only thing that would make it even better is if it were available in ceramic or stainless steel.
