It’s been more than three years now that I had to let Ruby go, and I still miss her every day. I’m grateful I have eight years of Ruby’s Reflections on this site to comfort me and remind me of some of the cute things she did, and I love sharing the memories with you.
None of us want to believe that memories of our beloved cats fade as time goes by, but when I came across a post that Ruby “wrote” in 2012 the other day, I realized that I had completely forgotten about how funny and adorable she was when it came to eating treats.

Bonus memory: enjoy this video of Allegra and Ruby getting their daily dental treat. I gave them in the evening before we all settled down. They no longer make these treats, but we had so much fun with them.
So cute and funny! Ruby’s playfulness is so sweet. Allegra’s just sitting there staring at her like, “…are you gonna eat that?”

Oh Ingrid, thank you for sharing that wonderful video of your two precious girls. I look at videos also, of my beloved Bella – to help keep her memory alive. I miss her so much every single day, and it’s been nearly two years now. Time seems so fleeting.
