If you’ve followed me for a while, you know Dr. Lynn Bahr from the Ask the Cat Doc column we ran on The Conscious Cat. This newest offering in Dezi & Roo’s line up has a super high cute factor: refillable lollipops and candy filled with their lab-certified Cloud Nine Silvervine. Honestly, it was all I could do to not stick that lollipop into my mouth! Just unwrapping these toys brought back childhood memories.
I have to admit, I was a little skeptical whether Allegra would be interested in the lollipop. Turns out she goes nuts for it!
I put it away after she has played with it, and each time I bring it back out, she has so much fun with it!
I thought maybe part of the appeal was the stick, but clearly, it’s the ball and the silvevine filling, because she was equally enthralled with the piece of candy.
I absolutely love these toys. Allegra just turned 14, and as those of you with senior kitties know, it can be a bit more challenging to keep them interested in a toy, so anything that makes her this happy is a winner in my book!

These toys look interesting. I bet Lu would love the lollipop. She loves sticks. Sometimes I think she is part dog. Even with her wand toys, she is usually more interested in the stick then what is attached to it.
Allegra tends to be the same way with wand toys. I swear she and Lu must be twins separated at birth!
